[W]holehearted is a short film project with the goal to reach people with the greatest and most im-portant message in the world - the Gospel. The story of the film leans particularly to the state-ment in Ezekiel 36:26 and tells the audience in a powerful, emotional and visually appealing way, that nothing and nobody can fill the hole in their heart, except Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Nick seems to have the life many dream of - he has money and success, a beautiful girlfriend and he\u2019s chasing one adventure after another. But while everything looks so perfect from the outside, the viewer takes a journey to his inside. He observes Nick standing on the surface of his heart and realizes that all his efforts are actually a fight against a terrible problem: There is a small hole in his heart that keeps growing and gradually turning into a large crater. And everything he attempts to plug that hole seems to make the problem worse - until a very special day.<\/p>\n

[W]holehearted is a scenic short film that not only tells Nick's journey from the outside, but also depicts what's happening inside through the use of visual effects, while leading the viewer to the only solution to Nick's problem: Jesus Christ enters his life and renews his heart.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We want to tell the story and core message of [W]holehearted in a way that is easy to understand for every casual viewer. But viewers who are looking for artistic depth and who like to analyze films, should also find what they\u2019re looking for. We want to use the different levels of film language to support the storyline and give it additional depth and subtext.<\/p>\n

Our goal is to tell the story in a fluid way that keeps the viewer right in the middle of the action. The scene transitions shall feel smooth and we\u2019re planning to work with match cuts and more complex transitions. The narrative speed increases more and more in the course of the film, which under-lines the increasing urgency and desperation of the protagonist. This pace reaches its maximum at the point where Nick finally realizes that all his attempts are futile and he has reached his absolute lowest point.<\/p>\n

In this moment of desperation, the pace experiences a radical stop - as if Nick would hit a wall at full speed. For a moment, the viewer gets the feeling that time is standing still. But with the appear-ance of Jesus, the story finally gets into motion again slowly, but in a powerful way. This moment will be the most emotional and touching moment in the film.<\/p>\n

At the end of the film, the viewer will be addressed personally with the gospel either through a text title or through a subsequent video. The viewer will get the opportunity to react to it. People who want to make a decision for Christ as a result of the film (or at least have become curious) will have the option to receive further information via a link. Using a contact form, we would like to give the viewer the opportunity to connect with a church in their area that will help them to become a follower of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We are Kornelius & Tabea Scheel and Stefan Friedel from Schw\u00e4bisch Gm\u00fcnd, Germany. Our dream is, to make movies. Movies for God.<\/p>\n
