We hope you all had a wonderful, blessed celebration and relaxing holidays with your loved ones. Before the turn of the year we would like to say hello again and give you a short update.
This newsletter will probably be rather short, because after some relatively busy days, we've kind of taken a little break to relax between the holidays. However, over this rather quiet inter-holiday period we have received another generous donation and also a very inspiring and encouraging email with potential for a very interesting collaboration.
2022 was a great year. We experienced many blessings. We look back on the completion of the website, the foundation of the association, many enthusiastic pledges of support and voluntary help, confirmations, encouragements and donations and we can only say "Thank You" from the bottom of our hearts. First of all to our Lord and God. He is our Provider and everything is only possible with His favor and grace. And we also thank everyone who became enthusiastic about the project, is praying for the project, or has supported it in any way or is planning to support it in the future. We are incredibly excited to see where God will take us with the film project in the new year 2023.
But in any case, we would like to give you and all of us two passages from the Bible to take with us into the new year. Because it doesn't matter what we do, whether it's a film project, as in our case, or maybe something completely different for you. No matter what we may want or need - our gaze should always be on God. Sometimes it is perhaps all too easy to fall into focusing on the gifts instead of the giver. Let's be careful not to do that. Let us strive to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind (all our mind) and, as He has commanded us as well, to love our neighbor as ourselves.
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ Jesus replied: ‘ “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’
Matthew 22:35-40
(New International Version)
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
Matthew 6:33
and all these things will be given to you as well.
(New International Version)
We wish you all a very nice New Year's Eve celebration, a great start into the new year and a Happy, abundantly blessed New Year 2023!
Your [W]holehearted team
